Age Requirements:
KV Schools offer classes 1 to 12. The schools across the country follow uniform syllabus and teaching and examination pattern. Hindi and English are the medium of instruction in KV Schools. These schools give importance to sports and other co-curricular activities along with academic.
Age criteria of KVs is same for all Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools. According to the KVS guidelines, a child must be 5 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I. It should be noted that a child born on 1st April also be considered for admission.

Single Girl Child Admissions:

KVS has announced admission notification for the academic year 2019-20. The admissions are open for class 1 in all KVS schools across the country.
