My daughter is studying 7th class at Hyderabad with CBSE syllabus, Now I want to join her in 8th class at Bangalore in CBSE affiliated school for the academic year 2017-18 due to my family is shifting to Bangalore. Her DOB is 03-02-2005. Some schools objecting her to give admission in 8th class. They are saying that she should complete the age of 12 years by 31st Dec 2016 ( DOB should be before 31-12-2004). Is it right ? Is there any option to her safe her academic year.
