Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) – 2016 notification has been issued for admission into Ph.D / Integrated Ph.D Program in Physics or Theoretical Computer Science or Neuroscience or Computational Biology in the following institutions for the academic year 2016-17
Participating Institutions: ARIES, IISER Pune, IGCAR, IIA, IISc, IISER Bhopal, IISER Kolkata, TIFR-TCIS, TIFR, IISER Mohali, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, IMSc, IOP, IPR, IUCAA, HBNI, HRI, ICTS, JNCASR, NISER, PRL, RRCAT, RRI, SINP, NBRC, NCRA-TIFR, SNBNCBS, UGC-DAE CSR, VECC.
Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility is B.Sc. for Integrated Ph.D. and M.Sc. for Ph.D. programmes. Students those studying final year of these courses are also eligible to appear for JEST 2016. Some institutions also accept B.Tech./ B.E/ M.E/ M.Tech/ 4 year B.S as eligibility for Ph.D/ Integrated Ph D programmes.
Last date for submitting online applications and payments: 10 December 2015. JEST 2016 will be held on 21 February 2016.
