Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Gujarat is inviting applications for admission into its prestigious Masters and Fellow Programmes in Rural Management for the year 2012-13. IRMA is one of the top notch institute for sectoral management education in India. The institute offer two premier full time programmes leading to Masters and Doctorate Degrees. All the programmes of IRMA are recognised by AICTE and AIU. Selection of the candidates for the below programmes will be through all India level entrance examination, group discussions and personal interviews. Following are details of the programmes:
1) Programme in Rural Management (PRM 2012-2014): This PG Programme is intended to train young talented managers to undertake challenging responsibilities in the sectors of rural Co-operatives and the development organizations. PRM is a full time programme and residential in nature. The programme will lead to a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM). This is recognised as an equivalent to Master’s Degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and also duly approved by the AICTE. IRMA offer excellent placement opportunities for the all the candidates.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should be a Graduate from any discipline with at least 50 percent marks. 45 percent marks are enough for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Those students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 06th June 2011 are also eligible apply.
2) Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM): This is a Doctoral Programme with a maximum duration of 6 years. The programme is designed for students and professionals interested in careers in Research, Teaching along with specialised knowledge based positions in Rural Management Institutions. Eligibility: Candidates withe post graduation in any discipline with minimum 55 percent marks can apply. Candidates with four year professinal degrees, PRM from IRMA and 5 Year Professional degree like MBBS / MVSc / Arch. are also eligible to apply.
