Following are details of Board wise admitted candidates in IITs, NITs, and IIITs through JEE Main 2016 and JEE Advanced 2016 examinations. Telangana Intermediate Board, Rajasthan and AP Intermediate Board students topped in number of students securing seats in IITs and NITs.
About 15 percent of total seats in IITs and NITs are going for students of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Boards. Out of the total 45467 seats, Telugu students secured 6744 seats in various institutions and categories.
