School of Maritime Management, Indian Maritime University (IMU) Chennai is inviting applications for admission to MBA programme for the academic year 2012-13. The IMU will conduct Common Entrance Test (IMU – CET MBA) for short listing the candidates. The CET will be held at Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Visakhapatnam. IMU Chennai is a Central University specialised for training and research in Nautical Sciences and Maritime Engineering. Following are details of specialisations available at IMU:
MBA (Master of Business Administration): MBA in Port and Shipping Management at IMU Chennai and Cochin Campuses. MBA in International Transportation and Logistics Management is offered at IMU Chennai. IMU is also offering programmes of B.Sc. and B.Tech in teh discipline of Nautical Sciecnes. The IMU will release separate notification for B.Sc and B.Tech courses.
IMU – CET (MBA) Eligibility: Applicants should have Bachelors Degree with minimum 50 percent marks. Those appearing for the final year exams also can apply. Interested candidates can apply in the prescribed application form available for download on the website at www.imu.tn.nic.in or from www.imusmm.org . Application fee is Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for SC, ST and PD candidates). Filled in applications should be sent to ‘Admissions Coordinator – MBA, Academic Section, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai- 600119. Last date for the submission of completed applications is 31st March 2012. Entrance Examination for CET (MBA) will be held on 8th April 2012.
