Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali has released notification for the award of Summer Research Program 2012. The program will be conducted at IISER Mohali. Students who are completing first year of their M.Sc. program or those students completing 2nd year or 3rd year of BSc can spend 2 months at IISER Mohali during the summer as part of this Summer Research Program. They should undertake specific research projects with IISER faculty.
Eligibility : Applicants should be studying first year of M.Sc. or 2nd / 3rd year of B.Sc. . The summer program is aimed at providing exposure to research methodology and a research environment to meritorious and bright students. This will be a wonderful experience for the students as they will be provided with an opportunity to work along with reputed scientists at the Institute.
Interested candidates can apply online through IISER Mohali website at http://www.iisermohali.ac.in/summer_inst2012.html . Candidates should be careful in providing information online and should fill the form correctly. Last date for the receipt of online applications is March 15, 2012. Selected students will get a stipend of Rs 5000 per month and they will also get hostel accommodation (if required) on payment basis.
