Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) Bhopal is inviting applications for admission into Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management (PGDFM) for 2012-14 batch. IIFM is a top level sectoral management school with focus on imparting skills related to forests, environment, development and allied sectors. Duration of PGDFM is two years. This is a full time residential programme approved by AICTE and Association of Indian Universities. The programme also has a record of 100 percent placements. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline secured through the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 system with at least 50 percent aggregate marks. SC, ST and DA candidates need minimum 45 percent marks. Those candidates appearing for the final year examination of their graduation are also eligible to apply. IIFM also offering Fellow programme in Management (FPM) with focus on Forest Management.
Admission Procedure: IIFM short lists candidates based on CAT 2011 scores. Candidates have to apply separately for IIFM against present notification. Short listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interviews. Interested candidates can obtain IIFM application form by post, in person or can be downloaded from www.iifma.cin. Downloaded forms should be enclosed with DD for prescribed amount drawn in favour of “Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management” payable at Bhopal.
