A reader asked… I have completed B.Tech in J.N.T.U Hyderabad region. I have secured 57.5 percent marks. Please suggest me the suitable government jobs. I will get prepare. I am 28 years and I got married. Currently I am working in a Private Company.

Answer: You can apply for Government jobs subject to eligibility and reservation. You did not specify your reservation category here and generally 60% and age between 18 & 30 years is preferable for most of the jobs.
However, for SC/ST candidates, exemption is given on percentage of marks and age. You can find jobs in Defence, Railways, ISRO, Navy, etc. GATE is added value for some jobs in PSUs. Also you can apply for jobs in service departments.
