If your sister is interested in research then better to opt for CSIR or JEST exam to get an entry as a junior research fellow in any of the national institutes specifically IICT, Hyderabad or NCL, Pune. In the mean time, as he is in the final year he can go through a rigorous project work in organic chemistry in any national level institutes which will give him a glance about the real time research activity and tremendously help in his future career.
For JEST and CSIR advertisement please follow the employment news regularly. CSIR exam will be twice in a year in the month of June and December. For JEST details you can follow the IISC Bangalore or any IIT website as mentioned below.
Over all organic chemistry has an excellent future. In the drug synthesis, drug intermediates etc., organic chemists role is prominent. Once PhD is completed in synthesis the job opportunities are more and package will be very good.
