Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) has announced Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) Notification 2012 for Engineering Diploma Holders and B.Sc. (Mathematics) candidates. Admission to a fixed number of seats (20 percent) in Engineering first year programmes in Govt. and Private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2012-13 will be through ranks of ECET 2012. Admission to BE / B.Tech / B.Pharmacy UG programmes in AICTE and PCI approved colleges in AP will be held according to the merit in ECET exam. Following is the schedule of entrance examination:
1) Commencement of Sale of Applications: 18-02-2012
2) Last date for the receipt of completed application forms: 02-04-2012
3) Date and time of entrance test (ECET 2012): 24-05-2012 (10 AM to 1 PM)
4) Last date for submission of applications with late fee of Rs. 500: 12-04-2012
5) Last date with late fee of Rs. 1000: 20-04-2012
6) Last date with a late fee of Rs. 5000: 09-05-2012
7) Download of ECET 2012 Hall tickets: May 2012
8) ECET 2012 Results and Counseling: June 2012
ECENT 2012 results will be announced on the website www.apecet.org or www.jntuk.edu.in/ecet2012. Candidates can also download hall tickets from these website. Interested candidates can obtain application forms along with information booklet from designated post offices and Axis bank branches. Cost of application is Rs. 300. Filled in application forms should be sent along with all the required documents to the Convener, ECET 2012, ECET Office, 1st floor, Administrative Building, JNTUK, Kakinada in person or by registered post / speed post. Last date is 12th April 2012.
