The UG admissions process in prestigious Delhi University is in trouble with the rumors of resignation of Vice Chancellor of the University, Dinesh Singh. The UG results / cut offs and admissions of DU have been stayed due to controversies over introduction of four year degree courses called, Four Year Under Graduate Programme (FYUP).
The UG admissions in Delhi University were actually begin on Tuesday, 24th June 2014. The process has been deferred by a week after the festering controversy over the new course.
The UGC has directed the Delhi University on Sunday to revert to the old three year degree courses system. The VC is believed to have dissatisfied with this decision of UGC and reported to have put in his papers.
