CBSE has cancelled Mathematics exam of Class X and Economics exam of Class XII as the question papers were leaked in New Delhi. The re-exams for both the papers are likely to be held in April 2018. The CBSE will announce the new dates within a week on its website and also through media.
About 30 lakhs students were hit by the CBSE exam paper leaks. The Central Government / New Delhi Police have launched probe into the paper leak issue.
The CBSE Class XII Economics paper was leaked a day before the actual exam. Class X Mathematics paper was leaked on the same day (on 28th March 2018) and CBSE has cancelled the exam as the students are reaching home after completion of the exam.
CBSE is conducting Board Exams for Class X after eight years gap. The PM and HRD Minister were concerned over the issue of paper leak. The students were badly hit by the paper leak issue as they were happy after good performance in the exam.
