VRO and VRA Material

Stage has been set for another massive recruitment of VRO and VAO posts in Andhra Pradesh. The Government of Andhra Pradesh has already approved 1657 VRO (Village Revenue Officers) and 4305 VRA (Village Revenue Assistants) posts along with several other vacancies. Notifications are awaited from APPSC and concerned recruiting authorities.

Here is a brief of the vacancies in various revenue departments:

1) Deputy Tahasildars: 133 posts
2) Junior Assistants: 1162 posts
3) VROs: 1657 posts
4) VRAs: 4305 posts
5) Surveyors: 273 posts
6) Draftsmen: 46 posts

The exercise for the release of recruitment notifications has already been started. The Government may entrust the responsibility on APPSC to conduct various recruitments.

With the Andhra Pradesh Government mulling about another VRO and VRA recruitment, the candidates are searching for the previous / old question papers of VRO examination. The Govt of AP has conducted Village Revenue Officers (VRO) and VRA (Village Revenue Assistants) recruitment in 2012. Here we are giving original question paper with key fo VRO recruitment. The new notification for VRO and VRA posts is likely to be released in 2013.

There was a huge competition for VRO posts in 2012 notification. About 11 lakhs candidates applied for the examination for the 1000+ vacancies. VRA posts are relatively less attractive and seen moderate response from the candidates.

The recruitment process of VRO and VRA notification 2012 has been already completed. The training and postings have been given to the selected candidates. The posts and positions are expected to enjoy enormous power at the village level as all the revenue issues will be dealt with by VROs at the field level.
