IIFT MBA International Business Admissions 2012-14

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has announced notification for admission to its highly reputed management program MBA (Intentional Business) / MBA (IB) for the year 2012-14. IIFT is an internationally reputed institute for imparting Management education with specialization in International Business. The institute is established for the specialized training, education and research in foreign trade and international business. IIFT has campuses at New Delhi and Kolkata. Following are details of eligibility, application and selection procedure for IIF’s MBA (International Business) Degree Programme for 2012-14 session:

Qualifications and Eligibility Requirement: Applicants should have Bachelor’s degree of 3 years duration in any discipline. Those appearing final year exams of the qualifying degree can also apply. There is no age limitations. Some seats will be reserved for foreign nationals, NRIs and children of NRIs. They will be admitted in to MBA (IB) based on GMAT scores. Apart from MBA (IB), IIFT also offers Executive Management Program for which notification will be released separately.

Application Procedure: Interested candidates can apply online / offline modes. Applications also can be obtained through post OR from IIFT centers across India. Selection will be based on the performance in Written Test, Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Personal Interview. IIFT selects candidates through rigorous admission and short listing process. The admission test will consist of multiple choice objective type questions. Duration of the test is 2 hours / 120 minutes. The question paper normally consists of around 200 questions from English Comprehension, General Knowledge and Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis.

AIEEE 2012 Results are likely to be declared on or before 7th June 2012 after 11 AM. AIEEE 2012 Key / Answers / Solutions will be available on popular websites such as careerpoint.com / fiitjeee.com etc. AIEEE 2011 rank predictions and probable cut offs also can be done based on the AIEEE 2011 ranks and marks analysis. The Result of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) will be available on http://cbseresults.nic.in OR http://ccb.nic.in OR http://aieee.nic.in . Score cards of AIEEE will be dispatched between 13-06-2011 to 30-06-2011. Following are details of AIEEE 2011 Key, Results, Eligible Marks and Counseling. Candidates can also avail duplicate score cards on request only. They need to pay fee of Rs. 50/-. Postal charges of Rs. 30/- extra for outstation candidates. Issue of duplicate score cards will be between 08-07-2011 to 30-09-2011. Eligible marks for various categories for admission to AIEEE 2011 counseling are as follows for B.E./ B.Tech. and B.Arch./ B.Planning.

1. General Category: 55 Marks
2. OBC Category: 33 Marks
3. SC/ ST/ ALL PH: 20 Marks

Candidates can avail details of centralised web counselling from http://ccb.nic.in or http://aieee.nic.in . Central Counselling Board will decide the procedure for counseling. All the candidate must preserve their Score Card till the process of admission in the colleges / Institutions is completed.
