TSPSC Groups

Following is the TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission) Group 1 Examination scheme in Telangana. The Scheme of examination is given below and the syllabus is also changed by the TSPSC. The total Preliminary examination for Group 1 Services will be for 1000 marks. The division of marks for various exams is given below:

Written exam (Prelims): 150 marks
Written exam (Mains): 750 marks
Interview: 100 marks.

Main:
General English (Qualifying Test)
Paper-I : General Essay
Paper-II : History, Culture and Geography
Paper –III : Indian Society, Constitution and Governance

Paper-VI : Telangana Movement and State Formation

TSPSC Group I Services Syllabus and Scheme of Examination

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has released the new structure of posts under Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 and Group 4 categories and the latest exam scheme for various posts. There will be an additional question paper on Telangana Movement and State Formation (Paper VI). The syllabus in this paper includes the idea of Telangana (1948 – 1970), Mobilisational Phase (1971 – 1990) and Towards Formation of Telangana State (1991 – 2014). Following are the details of posts and exam scheme in Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 and Group 4 categories. The notifications will be issued by TSPSC in due course of time.
