London based business and financial daily, The Financial Times has released Global Business School Rankings for the year 2011. The Financial Times (FT) releases Top 100 rankings for B-Schools across the world every year based on its own criterion and these ranking have more credibility at the international level. The daily has taken increase in average salary in placements and last three years average rankings into consideration along with other set of parameters.
India has two premier B-Schools in the top 100 list. Prestigious Brand IIM Ahmadabad and Indian School of Business (Hyderabad – Andhra Pradesh have occupied 11th and 13th slots in the top 100 list. Both the institutes are famous for their reputation across the globe and have been successful in building their own brand of education, training, research and placements.
