NIBMG Kalyani Ph.D Admissions in Biology 2012-13

National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG), Kalyani (West Bengal) has announced notification for admission to Ph.D. programme in the areas of Statistical Genomics, Computational Biology and Systems Biology. Selected candidates will have to work under the mentorship of NIBMG faculty at the Institute.

Eligibility : Applicants should have Post Graduation in any discipline of Bioinformatics, Statistics, Mathematics with minimum 60 percent marks in aggregate. Candidate must have qualified in NET or must have been awarded a valid Junior Research Fellowship or awarded a valid Ph.D. Fellowship.

Aliah University Kolkata Ph.D Admissions 2012-13

Aliah University, Kolkata has announced notification for admission into Ph.D. programme in various departments for the academic year 2012 – 13. Ph.D. programmes are offered in the departments of Arabic, English, Geography, History, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering.

Eligibility : Applicants should have Post Graduation in relevant discipline with minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute or a Graduation in Engineering / Technology in related subject with minimum 75 percent marks from a recognized University / Institute. Candidates who have qualified in NET, GATE, SET, SLET, UGC (JRF), CSIR (JRF), or M.Tech. / M.E. / M.Phil. may appear for Interview. There will be no admission test for those candidates.

Filled in application form along with attested copies of certificates in support of age, qualification and experience and DD for Rs. 500 drawn in favour of The Registrar, Aliah University and payable at Kolkata should be sent to the Office of the Registrar, Aliah University, Salt Lake Campus, DN – 41, Sector – V, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700 091.
