Schools in India-ICSE, CBSE, IB World, State Boards

We have four kinds of schools which follow different patterns in curriculum, teaching, learning and evaluation. All the systems differ in their emphasis on various subjects and career prospects they offer. These systems of education have thier own inherent advantages and disadvantages:

1. SSC (Secondary School Certification): This is being implemented in Schools owned and recognized by State Governments and called as State Schools. All these are affiliated to Concerned Boards of Secondary Education / Higher Secondary / Intermediate Education of Government Departments.

2. CBSE / AISSCE: This is the most popular and widely accepted system of education in India. These schools are spread across India. You can find these schools in almost all the districts. Kendriya Vidyalayas are best known schools of these system. There are more than 1000 KVs in India.

3. ICSE / ISC: These schools are affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).

4. IB World Schools (International Baccalaureate): There are 78 IB World Schools in India. These are international schools with focus on communication and problem solving skills.

AP 10th Class-SSC Results 2011- Advanced Supplementary Exams Schedule

Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (APBSE) shall release SSC/ 10th Class / Tenth Class results during Third week of May 2011. Evaluation of Answer sheets of 10th class will be done between 11th April and 27th April 2011. Advanced Supplementary Examinations for the failed SSC / 10th Class candidates will be conducted during June / July 2011. Detailed schedule of supplementary exams will be provided soon after the release of SSC / 10th Class results in Andhra Pradesh. Results of Tenth Class for 2011 will be made available on the websites such as www.manabadi.co.in / manabadi.com/ www.eenadu.net, www.sakshi.com, www.sakshieducation.com, www.vidyavision.com, www.netlinx.com, educationandhra.com etc.

About 12,99,473 students are going to appear for SSC examinations during 2011. Out of these, 2,40,128 students are private candidates. Exams are scheduled to be held between 24th March to 9th April 2011. Bar Coding will be applied to all subjects and flying squads will be appointed to supervise the examinations.

More than 5800 examination centers were arranged for the Tenth Class/ SSC students for the smooth conduct of the exams. 10th Class exams are highly crucial for the students as they will show the future course of education. There are number of corporate educational institutions in Andhra Pradesh such as Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions, Narayana Institutions, Sri Gayathri Academy, Vikas Group etc. to provide Intermediate education along with coaching for IIT JEE, AIEEE, EAMCET and other national level medical and engineering common entrance tests.
