Uttar Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarships 2014 – 15

The government of Uttar Pradesh has announced schedule for submitting online applications for the grant of pre-Matric Scholarships for the academic year 2014 – 15.

The applications are invited from 9th and 10th class students of UP Board of school education.

More than 18 lakhs students are studying 9th and 10th classes in Uttar Pradesh. The applications have to be submitted online through the website scholarship.up.nic.in .

The online application process has already been started from 1st August 2014. Last date for the submission of online applications is 30 September 2014.

NCERT – NTSE National Talent Search Exam 2014

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi has announced National Talent Search Examination (NTSE 2014). Total number of scholarships under NTSE is 1000.

Amount of scholarship: Rs. 1250 for Intermediate candidates and Rs. 2000 per month for Degree and PG students. Candidates studying Ph.D will get scholarship as per the guidelines of UGC.

Selection will be through two stage process. First stage examination will be conducted by respective states / union territories. Candidates those qualified in Stage 1 will be eligible for Stage 2 exam which will be conducted by NCERT at the national level.

Application forms can be obtained from liason officers of NCERT at states / UTs. Last date for the submission of filled in applications is 31 August 2014. For more details, see www.ncert.nic.in .
