Grama Sachivalayam vacancies in Andhra Pradesh will be filled by DSC (District Selection Committees). There will be around 1 lakh vacancies across the state. Government of Andhra Pradesi will set up a total of 12671 Grama Sachivalayams across the state. Village Secretariats will come into force from 2nd October 2019. There will be a Grama Sachivalayam for every 2000 population.

11 Employees in each Grama Sachivalayam:

It is decided by the Government of AP to appoint 11 employees in each Grama Sachivalayam. 12 departments will take part in the recruitment process for various posts in Grama Sachivalayams.

Syllabus for written exam:

There will be written examination for the selection of employees for Grama Sachivalayam jobs. Each department will decide the syllabus of the question paper concerned. For vacancies like ANM, Engineers etc. the syllabus will be from the subject concerned. Grama Sachivalayam syllabus and exam pattern also will be finalised by the department concerned.

Selection by DSC:

The selection of candidates for Grama Sachivalayam jobs will be done by District Selection committees (DSC). DSC will be formed for each district with officials.

Each Sachivalayam will have new and old employees. VRO and some other existing employees also will be attached to Grama Sachivalayams. There will be 7-8 new posts in each Grama Sachivalayam. Based on this, we can assume that there will be around 1 lakh vacancies in Grama Sachivalayams.

Number of vacancies in various districts depends upon the number of population and sachivalayams in that village / ward.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates for the above posts will be based on the performance in personal interviews by DSC (district selection committees). Interviews will be held for shortlisted candidates. Candidates can expect questions on various welfare scheme for farmers, women, education and other categories of people in Andhra Pradesh.
