CBIP Thermal Power Plant Engineering Admissions 2012-13

Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP), New Delhi has announced notification for admission into PG Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering for academic year 2012-13. This a modular type course and duration of the course is 52 weeks (two semesters). There are 60 seats in this course offered at CBIP.

Eligibility: Applicants should have B.Tech / B.E or equivalent in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. Candidates who have appeared for final year examinations can also apply. The selection of the candidates for the course will be based on the marks in their previous examinations, GATE and PGDC – CET 2012 qualification. Age : Below 27 years.

Prescribed application form should be downloaded from website of CBIP www.cbip.org . Filled in forms along with DD of Rs. 700/- in favour of CBIP payable at New Delhi, two photographs, attested copies of certificates for a proof of age and qualifications should be sent to Secretary, Central Board of Irrigation and Power, Malcha Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi – 110021. Coffee Board PG Diploma in Coffee Quality Management Admissions 2012-13

Coffee Board of India, Bangalore has announced admission notification for Post Graduate Diploma in Coffee Quality Management for the academic year 2012 – 13. This course will be started in August 2012. Course curriculum mainly consists of topics such as coffee marketing, quality evaluation techniques, cultivation practices etc. Selection of the candidates will be based on past academic record, interview and sensory evaluation test.

Eligibility : Applicants should have Degree in any discipline with at least any one of the following subjects: Zoology / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Bio-science / Food Science / Botany / Environmental Science / Food Technology. Candidates with Degree in Agricultural Science are also eligible. Duration of the course is 12 months. Course fee is Rs. 75,000 for entire course.

Filled in application forms along with a fee of Rs.200 to be paid in the form of DD payable to Coffee Board General Fund Non Plan Account should be sent to the Head (Quality Control Division), Coffee Board, No.1, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore – 560 001.
