JIPMER MBBS-BDS Notification 2012-13 | Results and Helpline

Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), is one of the highly prestiguous medical training institutions in the country. Most popular as JIPMER, Puducherry (Pondicherry) issued notification for admission to MBBS / BDS Courses for the academic year 2012-13. JIPMER organises and conducts an all India level entrance examination for short listing the candidates for admissions to MBBS and Dental Science courses. Govt. of India has recognised JIPMER as an Institute of National Importance. Here are details of MBBS / BDS admissions for 2012-13 at JIPMER. JIPMER has 100 seats and out of these only 17 seats are available for general / other state’s candidates.

Qualification: Candidates should have studied Intermediate / Higher / Senior Secondary Examination / 10+2 qualification. They must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany and Zoology at Intermediate / HSE/ +2 level. They should have secured minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate. Candidates those appearing for their final year exams also can apply.

Candidates can apply through online / offline methods. JIPMER Entrance Exam will be conducted at Hyderabad, Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkatta, Ahmedabad, Bangaluru, Nagpur, New Delhi, Puducherry, Bhopal, and Thiruvananthapuram centers. KCET 2011 Notification, Results, Counseling Schedule- Karnataka Common Entrance Test for Engineering and Medicine

KCET 2011 Notification has been announced by Karnataka Examinations Authority, Government of Karnataka for admission to various professional courses in the Government and private colleges in the state of Karnataka. KCET 2011 is a common entrance test for Engineering, Medical and other professional courses for the academic year 2011-12 to be conducted in colleges in Karnataka. This test is much popular as as KCET across the south and has good number of students appearing from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Following are details of KCET 2011 Notification, Results and Admission Counseling.

KCET 2011 will be conducted for two days on four different sessions. The dates are 27th and 28th April as per the schedule released by KEA, Karnataka. The courses offered through KCET 2011 are Engineering and Technology, MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy and Yoga in Medical stream. Engineering and Technology courses are for the students of Maths stream and other courses are for Biology stream. Kannada language test will be conducted on 26th April for Gadinadu and Hornadu Kanndiga students in two different sessions.

Important Dates:

1. Biology Test: 27th April 2011 Wednesday at 10.30 AM to 11.50 AM.
2. Mathematics Test: 27th April 2011 Wednesday at 2.30 PM to 3.50 PM.
3. Physics Test: 28th April, Thursday from 10.30 AM to 11.50 AM.
4. Chemistry Test : 28th April, Thursday from 2.30 PM to 3.50 PM.

Applications of KCET 2011 will be made available through colleges / schools of the Karnataka state. Cost of application is Rs. 650 has to be paid in the form of DD in favour of ‘Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore’.

1. Last date for submission of DD at schools and colleges: 11th March 2011.
2. Last date for submission of DD by speed post : 15th March 2011.
