Motorola Scholar Awards Program 2015-16

The Motorola Company has issued notification inviting applications for the award of Motorola Scholar Awards for the academic year 2015-16. The Motorola Scholar Awards Program is aimed to encourage creativity and innovation among the students in polytechnics and engineering institutions.

The program is aimed at encouraging rural and semi urban areas encouraging them think and prepare detailed project proposals on the areas of relevance.

The ares of projects include computer science and IT, mobile communications, renewable energy systems, signal processing, rural technologies, healthcare technologies, labour saving technologies for women, ecology and environment and applications.

Eligibility: Candidates should be final year students doing BE / MCA courses. Interested candidates can apply by email or post. The award of prizes and rewards include Rs. 25000 to Rs. 75000. Last date for the submission of applications is 30th October 2015.

Intach Scholarships Program 2015-16

The grants under the Intach Scholarships will be offered to individuals who wish to undertake research that demonstrates potential impact on conservation philosophy, practice or policy.

The Intach Scholarships program is aims to advance knowledge and understanding of heritage conservation, or contribute to a critical and creative thinking in this field.

Eligibility: Candidates should be willing to undertake research in heritage conservation. Selected candidates will get research grants worth upto Rs. 3 lakh.

Application forms can be submitted by post. Last date for the submission of filled in applications along with relevant copies of certificates is 30th November 2015.
