UGC Post Doctoral Fellowships for Women Candidates 2015-16

University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued notification inviting applications for Post Doctoral Fellowships (PDFs) for the academic year 2015-16. The unemployed Ph.D women candidates only eligible to apply for these fellowships.

Number of fellowships to be issued per years are 100. Duration of the fellowship is five years.

Amount of Fellowship: Rs. 25000 per year for the initial two years and Rs. 30000 per year for the next three years. There will be contingency fund of Rs. 50000 per year for five years.

Eligibility: Candidates should have completed Ph.D. Only women candidates are eligible for these fellowships. Age of the candidates should not exceed 55 years.

Application forms can be submitted online only through the website ugc.ac.in. Last date for the submission of applications is 31st May 2015. For more details, see the website www.ugc.ac.in .

BARTI – Mahatma Jotiba Phule National Research Fellowships 2015

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI), Pune is offering Mahatma Jotiba Phule National Research Fellowships (JPNRF) for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates of Maharashtra State, candidates who are pursuing of their regular and full-time M.Phil and Ph.D Degrees for the academic session 2015-16.

Areas : Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Engineering and Technology in India.
Eligibility : Applicants must have Masters Degree in relevant subject.
Total number of Fellowships : 25
Duration of fellowship : 2 years for JPNJRF and 3 years for JPNSRF.

Fellowship scheme : 1. Mahatma Jotiba Phule National Junior Research Fellowship (JPNJRF) for M.Phil.
2. Mahatma Jotiba Phule National Senior Research Fellowship (JPNSRF) for Ph.D.
