IASST Guwahati – Ph.D Programmes 2015

Applications are invited by the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Assam for admissions into Ph.D programmes for the academic year 2015-16. The selection process will consist of entrance test and interview.

Ph.D programes : In Advanced Materials Science, Bio-Diversity and Econ Systems, Mathematical and Computational Science.
Duration of programme : 4 years.
Eligibility : Applicants must have Masters Degree in Physics / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Maths or BE / B.Tech in Computer Science / IT. Candidates with a valid CSIR / UGC NET / DBT / ICMR / ICAR JRF are exception from the entrance test.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : http://www.iasst.gov.in. The hard copy of application form along with relevant documents should reach The Registrar, Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Paschim Boragaon,
Garchuk, Guwahati, Assam – 781 035 on or before 1st September, 2015.

IIT – CEED 2016 for Admissions into Master of Design Course

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay is conducting Common Entrance Examination for Design – 2016 (CEED – 2016) for admissions into Master of Design programmes in various IITs and IISC for the academic session.

Test : Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED – 2016).
Course : Master of Design.
Campuses : IIT – Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Indian Institute of Science – Bengaluru.
Eligibility : Applicants must have Graduation in Engineering / Architecture / Design / Interior Design / Fine Arts / GD Arts or Masters Degree Arts / Science / Computer Applications.

Examination cities / towns : Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Delhi, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Kanpur, Nagpur, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : www.gate.iitb.ac.in. Opening date for online registration is 10th August, 2015. Closing date for the submission of online application is 31st August, 2015. Test will be held on 6th December, 2015.
