Entrance Exams and Tests in June 2012 – Engineering, Medical and other Tests

Following is the list of various entrance examinations to be conducted in June 2012. June is the most important month for education. Most of the universities and colleges conduct entrance exams and tests in June. Following are some of these entrance tests. Admission tests for Engineering, Medical and various other professional courses and conventional programmes also will be held at all India level by different institutions. 11) Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development – PG and Certificate Courses Entrance Exam: 16th June 2012
12) NIMCET 2012 (DM / M.Ch Courses of NIMS Hyderabad): 17th June 2012
13) National Sugar Institute PG and Diploma Courses Entrance Exam: 17th June 2012
14) Indian Law Institute PG and Diploma Courses Entrance Test: 23rd June 2012.

ICAR International Fellowships 2012-13

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi has announced International Fellowships (ICAR – IF) for the year 2012-13. These fellowships offer research opportunities for Indian and overseas candidates in the best Indian Agricultural Universities (AUs) in the ICAR-AU system, which comprises of State Agricultural Universities, Central Agricultural University Imphal, ICAR – Deemed Universities, Allahabad Agricultural Institute – DU and Central Universities with agricultural faculty.

Number of fellowships are 15. The ICAR-IFs are awarded for a maximum of three years. The fellowship programme will lead to a Ph.D. degree. Age of the applicants should be below 35 years. Interested candidates can apply online through ICAR website at www.icar.org.in .

Selection of the candidates will be based on the evaluation of area of study, proposed research plan, academic records, achievements and past work experience. Short listed candidates will be called for personal interviews.
