Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi is inviting applications for admission into Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (EPGDIB) for the year 2011-12. The programme will be delivered through VSAT. The EPGDIB Programme is specially designed for working executives. The duration fo the programme is 12 months. The classes will be conducted at IIFT Delhi campus, followed by classes in the HughesNet Global Education Interactive Onsite Learning Classrooms, located in various cities across India. IIFT also has a campus at Kolkata. Following are details of eligibility, fee and application procedure:

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have Degree in any discipline along with minimum five years of work experience. Selection of the candidates will be based on educational qualifications, experience etc. Shortlisted candidates will be called for online/ telephonic interviews. The total programme is spread over three trimesters, each consist of four months. The programme will be conducted through the HughesNet interactive learning platform. List of HughesNet classrooms are available available on www.hugheseducation.com . Classes will be conducted during Saturdays and Sundays.

Programme Fee is Rs. 250000 for General Category / OBC students and Rs. 125000 for SC/ ST/ PH Category candidates. Fee for Books / Study Material / Campus Fees is Rs. 17,000/- and Alumni fee is Rs. 5,000. The Japan Foundation India has announced notification for The Japanese Language Proficiency Test 2011. The JLPT 2011 (December) will be conducted in six cities on 4th December 2011. These are Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai. Details of uses of the test, teat pattern, model questions, FAQs may be obtained from the website mentioned below. Following are details of the test and application procedure:

Application forms can be obtained for JLPT – 2011 at Chennai from the JLPT Test Administrative Committee from 10 AM of the 10th August 2011 till 5 PM of 16th September 2011. Last date for the receipt of filled in applications is 20th September 2011.

Cost of the application is Rs. 100. Test fee is Rs. 700 for N1, Rs. 600 for N2, Rs. 500 for N3, Rs. 400 for N4 and Rs. 300 for N5. Applications will be issued on first come first serve basis for institutions, organisations and individuals depending on the availabiligy of forms. Fee payment can be made by cash / DD drawn in favour of ‘JLPT Test Administrative Committee’ payable at Chennai.
