NIOS 10th Class and Senior Intermediate Admissions 2013-14

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced admission notification 2013-14 for 10th and Senior Intermediate courses in the distance mode of education. Following are details of courses, eligibility and application procedure:

1. 10th Class: Candidates should have qualified in 8th Class and must have completed 14 years of age.

2. Senior Intermediate: Eligibility is pass in 10th class or its equivalent. Age must be above 15 years.

There will be no entrance examination. Admission will be based on the age criteria. Application forms are available on the website at http://www.nios.ac.in/ . Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 28th February 2013.

IIEE New Delhi PG and PG Diploma Courses 2013-14

Indian Institute of Ecology and Environment (IIEE), New Delhi is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission to Post Graduation and PG Diploma courses under Distance Education mode for the 2013 academic session.

Post Graduation courses are offered in the area / subject of Environmental Sciences, Disaster Management, Sustainable Development, Total Quality Management, GIS and Remote Sensing, Eco-tourism, Habitat and Population Studies, Green Business, Green Technology, Global Warming Reduction and Pollution Control. Duration of the course: Two years.

PG Diploma courses: Environment, Health and Safety. Duration of course : One year. Eligibility : Graduation in any discipline.

How to apply : The completed application form in the prescribed format (available on website : www.ecology.ind.in) along with photocopies of relevant certificates should reach the Indian Institute of Ecology and Environment, A 15, Paryavaran Complex, New Delhi – 110 030. Last date for the receipt of filled in application form is 31st January, 2013.
