BITS Dubai M.E and MBA Admissions 2011-13

BITS Pilani at its Dubai campus is offering Higher Degree Admissions 2011-12. These programmes offer an excellent opportunity for employed and for aspiring professionals to acquire excellent and wolrd class professional degrees in Engineering and Management. All the programmes are structured to suit the industry requirements. Programmes will be delivered based on the time convenience of the candidates. 1) M.E. Programmes: Specialisations offered are M.E. Design Engineering (Eligibility: BE or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent), M.E. Software Systems (Eligibility: BE or B.Tech in EEE or E and I or ECE or CS or M.Sc. Physics), M.E. Microelectronics (Eligibility: BE or B.Tech or M.Sc. or MCA or its equivalent) and M.E. Biotechnology (Eligibility: BE or B.Tech or M.Sc. or equivalent with adequate knowledge in Microbiology and Biochemistry).

2) M.B.A. in two streams: Specialisations are Engineering and Technology Management and IT Enabled Services Management. Eligibility: B.E. or B.Tech or its equivalent degree. BITS Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad – Ph.D Admissions 2011-12

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani) has released notification for admission into Ph.D Programme (2nd Semester) at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. BITS is a highly reputed technical institute in India and has excellent track record of placements and quality of teaching and infrastructure. BITS has campuses at Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa along with an offshore campus at Dubai. BITS is offering research programmes in the following disciplines: Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Civil Engineering. Economics and Finance, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Management, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Languages and Humanities and also Interdisciplinary areas such as Energy, Biotechnology, Robotics, Nano-science and Nanotechnology, Water Management, Environment, Public Health etc.

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have .M.E./ M.Pharm./ MBA/ M.Phil of BITS or Candildates with first class in M.Sc./ B.E./ B.Pharm will also be considered for Ph.D. admission. For Ph.D Programme in Languages and Humanities, candidates must have passed in M.A. with minimum of 55 percent aggregate marks also will be considered. There will be some seats for industry sponsored candidates in all disciplines. Selection will be based on written test and / or interview.

Assistantship / Scholarship: Candidates admitted into Ph.D. programme will be considered for Project or Research Assistantships for an amount of Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 14000/- per month or more in addition to tuition fee waiver schemes.
