BITS Pilani Online Application Submission for BITSAT 2012 Candidates

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has announced notification for admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes for the academic year 2012-13. The Online application process for these programmes has been activated on the website www.bitsadmission.com . The last date for submission of filled in application form is 30th June 2012. Candidates who have passed 12th (10+2 / Intermediate Second Year) year examination in 2012 or 2011 can apply. Candidates must have appeared in BITSAT 2012 will be included in the merit list for admission.

BITS has campuses at Hyderabad and Goa along with Main campus at Pilani. The institutes are offering BE (Honors) Programmes in Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering and B.Pharm (Hons). Campus wise cut offs of BITS for 2011-12 will help you in analyzing your chances of getting a seat in BITS campuses.

State Board Toppers will get direct admission. They need not appear for BITSAT but they should apply separately through the link available on the website www.bitsadmission.com . All the other candidates who qualified in BITSAT 2012 should give programme preference and submit 12th Marks through website. Preferences should be submitted from 19th May 2012 to 30th June 2012. BIT Mesra Integrated MCA, M.Sc and MBA Admissions 2012-13

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (Ranchi – Jharkhand) has announced notification for admission to Integrated Programmes in MCA, MBA, MBE, M.Sc. B.Pharmacy and Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology for the academic year 2012-13. Duration of the programme is 5 years / 10 semesters. The programmes are offered at Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur and Noida centers of BIT. Here are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility for MCA: Applicants should have 60 percent (50 percent for SC / ST candidates) marks in Class 10 and Class 12 and need 60 percent (50 percent for SC/ST) marks in Mathematics. At + 2 level, only percentage of marks scored in 4 core subjects will be counted. They are English, Mathematics (except Business Mathematics) and any two of the other prescribed subjects.

Selection will be based on merit in the qualifying examination / AIEEE / AIPMT based on the course selected by the candidate. There will be counseling for the qualified candidates. Interested candidates can apply online through BIT website at www.bitmesra.ac.in . Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 11th June 2012 for MBA, MCA and 15th June 2012 for M.Sc and B.Pharmacy courses.
