M S Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies, Peenya Bengaluru, Karnataka has announced notification for admission into Masters Course in Engineering leading to M.S (Engineering) Degree. The programme is offered in the departments of Automotive and Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Design, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering for the academic year 2012-13. Degrees will be awarded by Coventry University, UK. The institute is also offering MBA programme in Engineering operations, finance and accounting and human resource management. Duration of all the courses is 2 years.

Eligibility for Engineering Course: Applicants should have Engineering Degree. Post Graduates in Science are also eligible. Technical Diploma holders with a minimum of 3 years work experience can also apply. Science graduates with 1-2 years of experience are also eligible. For MBA course, any graduate can apply. Manipal University Ph.D Admissions 2012-13

Manipal University, Manipal has issued notification for full time PhD program with scholarship. Duration of the program is three years. Short listed candidates will be called for written test / interview. Ph.D programs are available in the disciplines like Allied Health Science, Architecture, Basic Science, Aromic and Molecular Physics, Engineering, Communication, Information Science, Management, Life Science, Medicine, Philosophy and Humanities, Pharmacy, Regenerative Medicine, Nursing and Statistics.

Eligibility : Applicants should have Masters degree in respective subject with 60 percent marks. Selected candidates will get Scholarship of Rs. 16,000, Rs. 17,000 and Rs. 18,000 per month in the first, second and third year respectively.

Fees : For General category – Rs. 59,500 (I installment – Rs. 28,000; II installment – Rs. 12,000; III installment – Rs. 12,000; Caution Deposit – Rs. 7,500). For Foreign / NRI category (in US Dollars) – 4500$ (I installment – 1500$; II installment – 1500$; III installment –1500$).

Filled in forms in all respects should be sent along with attested copies of the degree certificate of qualifying examinations, marks cards, any other relevant documents to Admissions Office, Manipal University, Manipal – 576104. Last date for the receipt of application forms is 14th August, 2012. The programme will commence from September 2012.
