CBSE 10th and 12 Class Exams and Results Updates

CBSE will be releasing the results of Class 10 and Class 12 early this year as compared to the previous years. The exams also being conducted early in 2019 due to general elections in March, April and May.

Delhi High Court Orders:

The CBSE board has officially mentioned that the Class 10 and Class 12 results will be declared early. Delhi High Court has ordered the CBSE to conduct exams early considering election schedule.

Results in April / May 2019:

CBSE used to conduct exams of 10th and 12th classes in March and results were announced in the third week of May every year. Contrary to this, Class 10 exams will begin on 21st February this year and 12th class exams starts from 15th February 2019.

31 Lakhs Appearing:

A total number of 31,14,831 candidates are registered to appear for both 10th and 12th Class exams of CBSE Board. Out of these, 18,19,077 are boys and 12,95,754 are girls students. 28 transgender students are also appearing for the CBSE exams.

Strict Guidelines:

Meanwhile the CBSE has issued strict guidelines to the students appearing for the board exams. Students are not allowed to carry any previous question papers to the exam center. They must wear school uniform to the exam hall.

CBSE 10th and 12th Class Exams – Guidelines to Students

CBSE Board examinations will start from 15th February 2019. Candidates have to follow certain rules while appearing for the board exams. CBSE has released following guidelines for the students and administrators of the schools. About 28 lakhs students will be appearing for CBSE Board 10th and 12th Class exams this year.

1) School Uniform is mandatory for regular students. They should also carry school identity cards / admit cards.

2) CBSE has advised the Schools to issue instructions to the students to come in uniform to the examinations. Otherwise, they will be denied permission to appear for the exam.

3) Parent/s have to sign the Admit Card issued by CBSE. This is along with the mandatory signatures of student and Principal of the school. Students have to ensure that they have taken all the three signatures with stamps.

4) Students are not allowed inside the exam hall after 10 AM. Hence the students are advised to reach the center premises before 10 AM.

5) Students are allowed to bring their pens and other basic stationary in a transparent pouch. Apart from stationary, students are allowed to carry their school ID card and admit card issued by CBSE.

6) Students with issues of Diabetics can carry a snack in a clean wrap. Student should not carry any written material, mobile phones, wallets or smart watches to the exam hall.
