B.Ed after MCA and Navodaya Teachers Recruitment

Question: Dear Sir, I have completed my MCA and because of job security I want to do B.Ed with Mathematics. Then, am I eligible for writing DSC for model schools or the special DSC’s like AP Residential Schools or Navodaya schools?
– Narayana, Tirupati

Answer: Dear Narayana, you did not mention your subjects in Graduation. You have to study the B.Ed in the relevant subjects studied at the Graduation level. It is always good to get a professional qualification.

B.Ed qualification is preferred in all kinds and levels of teaching jobs. The teachers recruitment in AP residential schools and Nayodaya School will have separate guidelines. These may be different from the DSC rules and guidelines.

The Navodaya Schools are governed by CBSE and Residential Schools comes under the purview of AP Residential Education Society. Hence there will not be uniform set of required qualifications and selection procedure for teacher posts in these schools.

Corrections in Model School TGT Online Applications

A student sent a letter regarding submitting corrections in TGT Application. The question goes on that whether we have to update our information in submitted application. Does that include our recent APTET May 2012 marks which was held after TGT exam? Please help me in this regard.

Answer: TGT posts require different qualifications. Applicants should have all the required qualifications at the time of application itself. Hence the question of updating APTET scores does not arise in the case of TGT recruitment.

Try to go through the detailed guidelines available at http://apms.cgg.gov.in/ . The recruitment process is already under progress. The APMS results have already been released and candidates are waiting for final merit list.
