APSET Paper 1 Model Questions and Syllabus

Paper – I of the APSET is common for all the candidates. There will be 60 questions in the paper from Teaching and Research Aptitude and candidates have to attempt any 50 questions. If you answer more than 50 questions, first 50 answers only will be considered for evaluation. Each question carry two marks thus making a total of 100 marks. Following are the details of syllabus and model questions for Paper – I of the APSET 2012:

Paper – I syllabus of the APSET exam consists of following topics: Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Reading Comprehension, Communication, Reasoning (Including Mathematical), Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Information and Communication Technology, People and Environment, Higher Education System : Governance, Polity and Administration. APSET 2012 Exam Scheme and Qualifying Marks

The Government of AP is conducting APSET exam after a long time. APSET 2012 examination will be in objective multiple choice type. There will be three papers for a total of 350 marks. Paper – I will be general in nature with questions from teaching and research aptitude. The questions may include from the topics such as reasoning, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidates. Following is the brief description of the all the question papers as per the APSET 2012 notification:

1) Paper – I : There will be 60 questions and candidates should attempt any 50 questions. Each question carry 2 marks thus making a total of 100 marks. Duration of the exam is 75 minutes. Check these model questions for clear understanding of the paper – I.

2) Paper- II: There will be 50 questions and all are compulsory. All the questions will be from the subject selected by the candidate. Each correct answer will get 2 marks. Total paper is for 100 marks. Duration is 75 minutes

3) Paper – III: There will be 75 questions and all are compulsory. Each question carry 2 marks and the total paper will be for 150 marks. Duration of the exam is 150 marks. See below table for clear understanding of the exam pattern of APSET:
