ISEC Bangalore Ph.D. Notification 2011-12 | Part Time and Full Time Admissions

Institute for Social and Economic Change announced notification for admission to Part Time and Full Times Ph.D Programmes for the year 2011-12. Known as ISEC, Bangalore, the institute is highly reputed in the field of training and research in Economics and Development related specialisations. The ISEC is inviting applications for full time (residential) and part-time (non-residential) doctoral programmes for the academic year 2011-12. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have Master’s degree in any of the above mentioned disciplines with minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate. Those passed in UGC-NET or JRF or SLET or having M Phil degree are preferable. Candidates age should be below 35 years to avail ICSSR fellowships and below 40 years in case of teachers and members of professional staff in Research Institutes. There is no age limitations for ISEC Fellowship for Part-time or External PhD Programmes.

CFTRI-M.Sc. Food Technology Admissions 2011-2013

Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore (Karnataka) announced admission notification for its most prestigious course M.Sc. Food Technology for the year 2011-2013. Duration of the course is 2 years and the program is being run is association with University of Mysore. CFTRI is an institute working under the purview of CSIR, Govt. of India. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility: Applicants should have Bachelor Degree in Science with Chemistry/ Biochemistry as one of the subjects. Or they should have studied Agriculture / Engineering / Technology. And Mathematics at Plus 2 or Degree level is compulsory for all the candidates. Candidates need 55 percent marks in optional subjects of B.Sc. OR minimum second class marks are required for Agriculture / Engineering / Technology graduates.

CFTRI shall conduct Entrance / Aptitude Test for admission purpose. The test will be conducted at Mysore and New Delhi on July 17, 2011.
