IIM Ahmadabad (IIMA), Gujarat has announced admission notification 2012 for Two Year Post Graduate Programme in Agri Business Management (PGP-ABM) to be commenced from June 2012. The programme is designed to produce skilled managers to meet the demands posed by the food, rural and allied sectors. There will be a god placements for IIM Ahmadabad Graduates as the programmes are well designed for corporate needs. Following are details of eligibility, selection process and application procedure:
Eligibility: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Agriculture Sciences or in allied disciplines with minimum 50 percent marks. The Degree should have been acquired in 10+2+3 pattern. OR the candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any non-Agriculture discipline along with interest in Agriculture, Agro / Food Processing, Rural and Allied sectors.

Those completed the course will be awarded the ‘Post-Graduate Diploma in Agri-Business Management’. PGP – ABM graduates will be assisted by the IIM in finding suitable placements in companies and organizations engaged in agri-business, food, agriculture and allied sectors. The selection of the candidates for the PGP-ABM is done through group discussion and personal interview. The actual cut-offs used for short-listing the candidates would depend upon CAT 2011 scores of the candidates. Apart from all these, IIM Ahmedabad also consider academic profile and achievements, extra-curricular activities, and post-degree work experience and its relevance for admissions.
