JEE Main 2016 Final Ranks by CBSE after Weightage

The Central Board of Secondary Education will release JEE Main 2016 ranks on 23rd June 2016. The JEE Main 2016 ranks after due weightage for 10+2 / Intermediate marks will be announced on the website www.jeemain.nic.in .

The JEE Main examinations were held offline on 3rd April and online on 9th and 10th April 2016. The CBSE will announce final ranks on Thursday.

About 12 lakhs candidates have appeared for JEE Main examination across the country. 1.32 lakhs students were appeared for JEE main from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

JEE Marks were announced recently and students from AP and Telangana excelled in that results. The final ranks may changes slightly after adding weightage to Intermediate / 10+2 marks to JEE Main marks.

CBSE – JEE Main Ranks on 23rd June 2016

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce JEE Main 2016 ranks on 23rd June 2016. About 12 lakhs candidates across the country are waiting for the final ranks of JEE after adding weightage to the Intermediate / 10+2 marks to JEE main marks.

JEE Main is for admission into engineering courses in NITs, IIITs, etc. The CBSE has announced JEE Main 2016 marks on 27 April 2016. These marks will be aggregated to 60 percent and 40 percent weightage will be given to Intermediate / +2 marks.

The CBSE has convened a meeting with heads of State Boards on 10th June and explained the weightage process. All the state boards have submitted the details of Intermediate / + 2 marks of the JEE Main appeared candidates.

The JEE Main counseling schedule will be released a day after the announcement of ranks. The counseling will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JSAA). Gujarat and Odisha are considering these ranks for filling the seats in state level colleges also.
