JEECUP Releases Polytechnic Entrance Exam Dates for 2019

The Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has released the date of exam for the UP Joint Entrance Examination – Polytechnic.

Exam Date:

As per the official website of JEECUP, the joint entrance exam will be conducted on 28th April 2019. Admission into polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2019-20 will be through this examination only.

Courses Offered:

JEE CUP is for admission into various polytechnic diploma courses like Engineering and technology diploma, agricultural engineering, fashion design, home science, textile design and engineering, library and information science, diploma in aircraft engineering, diploma in hotel management, PG diploma in biotechnology etc.

Results Dates:

The results of UPJEE Polytechnic – 2019 exam will be released in May 2019. The results consists of marks and qualifying status in the examination. Candidates will be offered admission into polytechnic courses based on their choices in online entry of options and seat allocation process.

Rashtriya Miliraty Schools – 6th and 9th Class Admissions, Entrance Exam, Reservations and Contact Details

Rashtriya Miliraty Schools (RMS) of India ( www.rashtriyamilitaryschools.in) invites applications for admission into Class 6 and Class 9 for the coming academic session. The schools are located at Chail – Himachal Pradesh, Ajmer – Rajasthan, Belgaum – Karnataka, Bengaluru – Karnataka and Dholpur – Rajasthan. Rashtriya Military schools are affiliated to CBSE and run by Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. Only boys are eligible to apply.

Entrance Exam for 6th Class: The entrance exam for 6th Class admissions will be of 5th standard. Questions will be asked on the subjects such as Intelligence, General Knowledge, Mathematics and English.

Entrance Exam for 9th Class: It will be in the 8th class standard. Questions will be asked from English, Hindi, Social Science, Mathematics and Science.

Education Qualification:
No education qualification is required for 6th class admission. For admission into 9th class, candidates should have passed in 8th class from any recognised schools.

Reservation of Seats:

1) 70% for wards of JCOs/OR of Army, Navy and AF (including ex-servicemen).
2) 30% for wards of officers of Army, Navy and AF (including retired officers) and wards of civilians.
3) 50 seats are reserved for wards of service personnel Killed in Action.
Note: 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for SC and ST in all categories.

Admissions 2019-20:

Application forms can be obtained from any Rashtriya Military Schools by paying Rs 600/- (Rs 300/- in case of SC/ST) through Cash / DD. It can also be obtained through post by forwarding self addressed slip and Rs 650/- (Rs 350/- for SC/ST) (including Rs 50/- for postage) through Demand Draft payable at respective Rashtriya Military School (in favour of “Principal, Rashtriya Military School”). Last date for the receipt of filled in applications is 15 November 2018.
