Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas Class 9 Admissions for 2018-19

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has announced admission notification for Class IX during the academic year 2018-19. Jawahar Navodaya Schools are functioning under the aegis of ministry HRD, Govt. of India. There are 626 Jawahar Navodaya Schools spread over 28 states and 7 UTs.

Online applications:

Interested candidates may submit online applications from 1st March 2018 through www.nvshq.org . Last date for the submission of online applications is 5th April 2018.

Selection Test for admission to Class IX will be conducted on Saturday, 19th May 2018 at JNV of concerned district.

Eligibility:

Candidates who are presently studying or have studied Class 8 during 2017-18 in any recognised school of the district where JNV is located are eligible to apply.

Candidates must have born between 1st May 2002 and 30th April 2006. This is same for all categories of candidates. Selection Test will be in English / Hindi.

Scheme of Selection Test:

English: 15 Marks
Hindi: 15 Marks
Maths: 35 Marks
Science: 35 Marks

NEET 2018 Schedule Released by CBSE – Exam on 6th May and Results in June 2018

NEET students The CBSE has almost finalised NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) – 2018 schedule. The prestigious medical entrance exam is likely to be held on 6th May 2018. The application process may start in the last week of January 2018.

Tentative Schedule of NEET 2018:

CBSE has decided to conduct the examination on 6th May 2018. Notification has been issued by CBSE to this effect. Online application process will be started from the last week of January 2018 and the same will be closed by March 2018. Exact dates for these will be announced soon by CBSE.

Counseling in June 2018

Results of NEET 2018 will be announced in the first week of June 2018. Admission counseling for the NEET qualified candidates will be held from 12th June 2018. Admission process will be completed by 31st August 2018.

Admission into MBBS courses in all medical colleges across the country except AIIMS will be based on NEET ranks. More than 1 lakh candidates will be appearing for NEET from AP and Telangana states.
