NHFDC Scholarship Scheme for Handicapped Students 2015

National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) has announced Scholarship Scheme for the handicapped students who are pursuing degree, PG and other professional and technical courses in India. These scholarships are provided by the Ministry of Social Justice, Government of India. Following are the details of the scholarship amount, eligibility and application procedure:

Scholarship amount:

For degree students: Rs.2500 per month
For PG students: Rs. 3000 per month
For Professional Courses: Rs. 6000 per month
For PG Courses (Professional): Rs. 10000 per month.

The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs.3 lakhs. Total number of scholarships are 2500. Out of these 750 scholarships are allotted for women candidates and remaining for male students.

Candidates should apply online only through the website www.nhfdc.nic.in . Filled in forms along with required copies of documents should be sent to National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC), Red Cross Bhawan, Sector-12, Faridabad – 121 007.

IIT Madras Summer Fellowship Program 2015

Indian Institute of Technology Mardas (IITM), Chennai has announced notification for the grant of Summer Fellowship Programme 2015. This is an excellent opportunity for the engineering pursuing students to interact with qualified and experienced faculty and research team at IIT Madras.

Eligibility: Candidates should be studying 3rd year of BE / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering / Integrated ME / M.Tech program OR 1st year of M.Sc. / MA / MBA with excellent academic record. The students are expected to be in high ranks / within top three ranks in university examinations.

The students pursuing any course in IITs are not eligible for these summer fellowship program. The duration of the fellowship is two months. Stipend per month is Rs. 5000 .
