Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has announced notification for admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes for the academic year 2012-13. The Online application process for these programmes has been activated on the website www.bitsadmission.com . The last date for submission of filled in application form is 30th June 2012. Candidates who have passed 12th (10+2 / Intermediate Second Year) year examination in 2012 or 2011 can apply. Candidates must have appeared in BITSAT 2012 will be included in the merit list for admission.
BITS has campuses at Hyderabad and Goa along with Main campus at Pilani. The institutes are offering BE (Honors) Programmes in Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering and B.Pharm (Hons). Campus wise cut offs of BITS for 2011-12 will help you in analyzing your chances of getting a seat in BITS campuses.
State Board Toppers will get direct admission. They need not appear for BITSAT but they should apply separately through the link available on the website www.bitsadmission.com . All the other candidates who qualified in BITSAT 2012 should give programme preference and submit 12th Marks through website. Preferences should be submitted from 19th May 2012 to 30th June 2012.
