can u please help me by informing about jobs that require especially m.sc. physics students apart from the teaching profession like in some companies, industries,in research and development sector etc.
Hi Paradarsini Parida,
It is really tough to get into research and development labs and industry with M.Sc. Physics qualification. You must require Ph.D. qualification to expect a good and decent career in the field. Though there are some premier labs such as BARC, National Physical Laboratory etc, they prefer candidates with CSIR- JRF or GATE qualification with excellent score. Without CSIR / GATE, it will be very tough to enter into R and D field. We suggest you to consider taking CSIR UGC NET examination for better prospects. You can clear it with a serious preparation for six months. There is so much useful content and guidance and tips on this site for CSIR – UGC NET aspirants. You can explore and use it. All the best!
