Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI), Pune (Maharashtra) has released notification for the award of fellowships for M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes. 50 percent of fellowships are reserved for women candidates and 3 percent fellowships will be allotted for differently abled SC candidates.
Number of fellowships: 101
The aim of this fellowships is to provide financial assistance to the students of SC category in Maharashtra who are pursuing M.Phil or Ph.D full time degrees.
The selection guidelines will be in the line of Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF). For more details, see barti.maharashtra.gov.in .
Filled in applications in the prescribed format and research proposals should be sent to Director General, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute, 28, Queen’s Garden, Camp, Pune – 411001. Last date is 15 August 2014.
Sir/Madam, I am holding a qualification of MA MEd, SET and other various added Diplomas, on perusal of your advertisement i had applied for fellowship & P.hd. courses, till date i was not communicated nor was able to view the selected candidate’s name, on what criteria- (In advertisement u have allowed last year appeared student, and the synopsis- copied by some one, without actually knowing the depth of knowledge of the student, ) on enquiery we were told that selected candidate have been informed, but no list was viewed on official webside. I really appreciate the BArti’s roll on making the development of depressed community, but without giving any opportunity, interview, only on basis of application form and the synopsis how can one judge one’s research knowledge, or it is just a —-or influence in awarding admission in these P.hd/M.Fill courses. Even Mumbai and SNDT University conducts exam and interview for selection process which is somewhat transparent. if all my allegations are not true please let me know the exact policy/list of selected candidate on what basis selection has been done, if possible please reply for the needful answer.

It is also requested that we were not like to see the news that there were no suitable candidate for the said course available. if all my allegations are not true please let me know the exact policy/list of selected candidate on what basis selection has been done, are those candidate are genuinee candidate if possible please reply or should we try with RTI application for the needful answer.
