APPSC has recently conducted Group 2 screening test for shortlisting the candidates for main examination. The question paper is not so difficult. But the negative marking system will reduce the cut offs drastically.
Following are the Group 2 preliminary / screening test cut offs for various categories of candidates as per the experts of coaching centers dealing with Group 2 and also from the students appeared for the exam.
Open Category: 65-70 marks
OBC: 55-65 marks
Scheduled Castes: 55-60 marks
Scheduled Tribes: 45-50 marks
Group 2 Main exams are scheduled in August 2019. There will be 3 papers in the Main exam. Each paper carries 150 marks thus making the total 450 marks.
