All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is inviting applications under Pragati Scholarship Scheme from Girl students for the academic year 2015-16. The girl students pursuing diploma, degree courses in AICTE approved technical institutions are eligible.
Number of Scholarships: 4000. Selected candidates are provided with scholarship worth Rs. 30,000 OR the tuition fees paid, whichever is less along with a contingency allowance of Rs. 2,000 per month for ten months.
Eligibility: Only one girl per family is eligible. Annual family income should be less than Rs. 6 lakhs per annum. Candidates should have joined in any AICTE approved institution in programmes / courses at Diploma/ Undergraduate Degree Level.
Students who were admitted in the first year of the course during academic year 2015-16 are eligible. Interested candidates can apply online only through http://www.aicte-pragati-saksham-gov.in/ . Last date for the submission of online applications is 16th November 2015 .
