Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF) has announced notification for admission into Post Graduate Certificate Course in Clinical Research. The course is offered at AHERF centers at Hyderabad, Chennai, New Delhi and Kolkata. Duration of the program is 12 months. The course is designed to provide hands on experience in the live clinical trials. The AHERF is providing about 90 percent placements to the selected candidates. The Course will start in July 2011. Major companies recruiting Clinical Research students at AHERF are CROs and SMOs like Jubilante Clinsys, AHERF, Icon, Paraxel, Quintiles, SMO-India and Pharmaceutical and biotech companies such as Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, Biocon, Panacea Biotech etc. After successful completion of the certificate course, students will be placed full time in one of the AHERF sites for a period of 6 months.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have Graduation with a degree in Life Sciences/ MBBS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BDS/ BPT/ MPharm/ BPharm etc. with minimum 60 percent marks. The selection of candidates will be based on the performance in the interview. Number of seats are 20 only. Details of program also available on www.aherf.org
Cost of application and registration fee is Rs 500. Admission fee is Rs 50,000 and this has to be paid at the time of admission.
