CAT on 4th December 2016 for Management Admissions in IIMs for 2017-18

Common Admission Test (CAT – 2016)  for admission into Management programmes in IIMs across the country has been released for the academic year 2017-18. CAT is a prestigious entrance exam for PGDM, PGP and related courses in premier management institutions, IIMs.IIMs are located at Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Visakhapatnam, Udaipur, bangalore, Bodh Gaya, Tiruchirapalli, Sirmaur, Calcutta, Indore, Sambalpur, Rohtak, Ranchi, Raipur, Jammu, Kashmir, Kozhikode, Nagpur and Lucknow.

Eligibility: Candidates should have Bachelors Degree with at least 50 percent marks. Reserved candidates need 45 percent marks.

IIMs use CAT scores for shortlisting the candidates for further admission process. These include Group Discussions, Personal Interviews and other tests.

Central University of Haryana B.Tech Admissions 2016-17

Central University of Haryana has announced notification for admission into four year full time regular courses of B.Tech. (Bachelor of Technology) degree programmes during the academic year 2016-17.

B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) (60 seats)
B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) (60 seats)
B.Tech (Civil Engineering) (60 seats)
B.Tech (Printing and Packaging Technology) (60 seats)

Eligibility: Candidates should have passed in 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized boards with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate.

Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of the JEE (Main) Score.  Online Registration Form for B.Tech. admission has to be filled which is available on the university website.  Last date of registration is 8 August 2016.
