Periyar University, Salem has announced notification for admissions into M.Phil and Ph.D programmes for the academic session 2015-16.

Courses : M.Phil and Ph.D.
Subjects : Biochemistry, Tamil, Botany, Maths, Zoology, History, Physics, English, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science, Commerce, Cooperation, Political Science, Public Administration, Microbiology, Management, Statistics, Biotechnology, Food Processing and Agricultural Science.

Applicants should have Post Graduation in relevant subject with minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate. Duration of programme is 2 years for M.Phil and 3 to 4 years for Ph.D programmes.

The application fee is Rs. 500 for Ph.D and Rs. 200 (for M.Phil) in the form of DD drawn in favour of The Registrar, Periyar University, Salem which should be enclosed along with application form. The selection will be made through entrance test.

Duly filled in application form along with relevant documents and fee DD should reach the Registrar, Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu – 636 011. Last date for the receipt of filled in application form for Ph.D is 31st July and 6th August, 2015 for M.Phil course.

Tata Institute Of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admissions into Certificate courses for the academic year 2015-16. The selection will be made through entrance test / interview.

Course details : Certificate course in Disaster Management.
Total number of seats : 50.
Eligibility : Applicants must have Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate.
