SEMCI India has issued notification for the Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST) 2016. The test will be conducted on the last Sunday of January every year at the organisations Test Centres in all major cities across India.

Eligibility: NEST-I: 1st and 2nd Year Degree Students of professional courses such as Engineering/ MBBS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BDS/ BCA and BSc (all)/ Diploma in Engineering (only Final Year)/ 12th (Science candidates can apply.

NEST-II: 3rd and 4th Year Degree Students of Engineering/ MBBS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BDS/ BCA and BSc (only Computer and IT groups) can apply.

Last date to apply without late fee is 30 September 2015.

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Hyderabad, National Institute of Electronics adn Information Technology (NIELIT), Chennai and Sri Chandrasekhara Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya University (SCSVMVU), Kanchipuram jointly offering an M.Tech programme for the academic year 2015-16.

M.Tech programmes are offered in the discipline of Electronics Design and Technology. There are 25 seats in total. Duration of programme is 2 years. Applicants must have BE / B.Tech in Electronics Engineering.

Candidates are required to apply online through website : http://kanchiuniv.ac.in. Closing date for online registration is 7th July, 2015. The selection will be made through entrance test to be held on 23rd August, 2015.
